United Security Welcomes Olga Kaminskiy as the new Director of Talent Acquisition

Olga comes to USI with 20 years of progressive experience and a successful track record supporting high growth organizations of all sizes, including public, private, and nonprofit sectors, and encompassing academic, real estate, retail, and consumer packaged goods industries. Her most recent experience was leading Talent Function at Melissa & Doug (a premier children’s toy company), Blue Buffalo (pet food), and General Mills. Olga has deep knowledge and expertise across all areas of Human Resources, but her passion and emphasis have always been Talent Acquisition, Talent/Employer Branding and Talent Management. She is results-oriented, both tactical and strategic leader with proven ability to grow and support businesses by building successful talent strategies, transforming processes and implementing best practices to align with overall business objectives. She has been consistently recognized as an expert in identifying, attracting, developing, and retaining “hard-to-hire” top talent in the most competitive markets.

Our Marketing team sat down with Olga to learn more about her. Listed below are some of the Q&A:

Question 1: What do you like to do outside of the office?

“Outside of work I lead an active lifestyle including hikes with my German Shepherd dog, and a love for dancing.”

Question 2: What have you learned since you joined the Security Services industry?

Olga commented, “This industry has been very fascinating, eye opening, and the learning just doesn’t stop. The biggest impact, however, would be the awareness and appreciation for security officers and the industry in general.”

Question 3: Tell your USI co-workers something interesting that they may not know?

“I came to the United States with my family as a young adult.  I worked numerous jobs to pay my way through college, learn the language, and forge a career of working with amazing companies in key leadership positions.”  {Editor’s Note – Olga is an inspiration and example of what hard work and determination looks like}

Question 4: Family Life?

“I am happily married with two children, a German Shepherd, and Cat.  I love to host family and friends at my house as that is my happy place.”
