John O’Keefe – High School Intern for USI

May 18, 2016

20160608_110530-minJohn O’Keefe is originally from White Plains, New York and graduated from Rye High School in 2016. In high school, John was very involved with his classes, as well as with sports, activities and community service. He was a defender on the varsity soccer team, as well as an integral member of the rugby team, which won the NYS championship in the Spring, 2016. John was involved in many clubs during high school, such as the Environmental Sportsman Club, which looked to protect local flora and fauna by coordinating beach cleanup projects. In his free time, John often gives back to his community by going to New York City to donate clothes and to help feed the homeless, or to teach English as a second language to the Spanish speaking community in a nearby city. In the fall of 2016, John will attend Boston College and will study chemistry and mathematics. As an intern for USI for a short time, John has developed an interest in the security field, and he hopes to be a security officer at one of the company’s Westchester sites in the near future.
