The role and responsibilities of a Security Officer can be different each day based on the interaction they may face. USI Security Officers welcome visitors to buildings, patrol parking garages and campuses, monitor cameras and building systems and in this case SAVE LIVES!
This past summer, Lead Security Officer Levar Wakefield and Security Officer Nick Crumb were working at a premier residential building in White Plains, New York. During their shift, an emergency medical call arrived at the front desk. Both Officers, who are highly trained, immediately began their emergency protocols. White Plains Emergency Personnel were dispatched, and the team of officers raced to the tenant’s apartment, where a quick assessment and plan of next steps was implemented. The tenant was kept calm, elevators were secured, doors were held open and hallways were cleared to get the patient quickly and efficiently from their apartment to the local hospital. The tenant survived due to the actions of the USI Security Officers.
This is the second time in the last year that the quick thinking of these officers relying on their training have saved a tenant’s life in this building. The Ownership and Board of this property as well as United Security are honored and grateful for your actions.
Thank You Lead Security Officer Levar Wakefield and Security Officer Nick Crumb!
