Chief Operations Officer

George Guilfoy is Chief Operating Officer of United Security, Inc. (USI); a 17-year veteran of the company and a security-industry practitioner for 40 years. George began his career in proprietary healthcare security in 1975, grew into a management position and served on the board of the Boston Chapter of IAHSS.  In 1987, George entered private security, managing successful growth organizations, leading to a position as Vice President/General Manager for a national provider of the New England Region.  George joined USI in 2005, opened the New England office, and was pivotal – with the ownership of USI – in growing USI into one of the largest and most respected providers in the market. George has always given back to the industry, mentoring and building dynamic teams to provide exceptional service delivery.  George is a former Chairman of the Boston ASIS Chapter, a recipient of a “Quarter Century” of service recognition and a member of the Commercial Real Estate Council for Security.  He is also a member of NASCO and participates in numerous local, regional and national public/private partnerships with law enforcement and security professionals.  George is considered one of the preeminent security practitioners in our industry and has developed an extraordinary resume with executive oversight of security teams from 50 to 5,000 professionals.
