Home Owners –

  • Turn on your furnace to make sure it is working. Leaving this to the first cold day could be an expensive mistake.
  • Install light timers so that if you arrive home in the dark your house will be lit up. This is a great crime deterrent, as the appearance of people being home is half the battle.
  • Clear leaves off of walkways and driveways as they can become slippery and induce injuries to family members and pets.
