Get to Know Katie Palmer and Brianna Buggey

United Security focus on the recruiting, training, and advancement of our employees.  It is these employees who provide the great customer service that clients and the security industry have come to know USI.  It is no surprise that we are ramping up our recruiting team who are at the forefront of our employee recruiting efforts.  This month we are excited to introduce two new recruiters to the United Security Team.

Get to know Brianna Buggey

Brianna is a recruiter for our Government armed and unarmed security officer team.  Below are some questions we asked Brianna.
What do you like about your job? Working with a great team, being alongside people with the same vision and work ethic.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years in your career? My long term right goal right now is to grow professionally, and be a key contributor inside a company like USI.
What type of music do you like?  Favorite artist? I listen to a lot of alternative rock, pop-rock, classic rock. One of my favorite bands would have to be the Goo Goo Dolls or Weezer.
How do you spend your time outside of work? Outside of work I spend a lot of time with my Family going to local events.
Vacation – beach or snow? Beach!
Favorite Sports team? I would have to say the Philadelphia Eagles. They have had my heart since a young age!

Get to know Katie Palmer

Katie is a recruiter focused on security officer projects in our commercial property team.  Below are some questions we asked Katie.
What do you like about your job? I enjoy having continually changing assignments and the opportunity to implement new ideas, strategies and techniques to recruiting.
Where did you go to college?  What was your major?  I went to the University of Connecticut. I obtained Double Bachelor’s Degrees in Psychology and Communications.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years in your career?  I am really passionate about the work I do and would love if there were opportunity down the line for me to mentor others, perhaps as a manager or supervisor.
What type of music do you like?  Favorite artist?  I listen to everything except for death metal and slow country. My dad raised me on classic rock and from that, my favorite bands are Cheap Trick & Journey. But my all-time favorite artist/band is Halestorm, they are a hard rock band.
How do you spend your time outside of work?  Outside of work, I am a part of the Bridgeport Sound Tigers Booster Club. I love attending concerts, comedy shows and sports events. But my favorite activity by far is Scuba Diving; my goal is to dive at least once in every continent.
Vacation – beach or snow?  It’s a toss-up. Snow because I love hockey and skiing. But beach because I want to scuba dive as often as I can.
Favorite Sports team?  I am a die-hard fan of the Boston Bruins.
